Each year Eagle Forum of California helps send scholarship recipients to the national Eagle Forum Collegian Summit, held in Washinton D.C. in June.

It is a great event where conservative college students from 120 different universities gather to hear outstanding speakers and learn more about how government works in our nations capitol.

Contestants apply for these scholarships by writing an essay on “the most outrageous liberal event at my college or what I have personally done to represent the conservative cause at my college campus.”

The winners for the year 2005 are Molly McPherson and Leah Conde, both attend Santa Rosa Junior College, where they have had opposition from liberal teachers and students.

Congratulations to you both!

If you are interested in finding out more about the Collegian Summit, go to www.eagleforum.org and link on to Collegians.
