Introduction to Mission Statement:

Since the task force is operating under the auspices of Eagle Forum, whose motto is “God, Family, and Country,” we include this motto in our mission statement, for we believe Agenda 21 is an attack to all three of these:

• God: Agenda 21 seeks to destroy the Judeo-Christian foundation and morals of our nation and the belief in the God of the Bible, by promoting a secular, “earth worshiping” religion in its place that places no value on the individual or individual God-given rights.

• Family: Agenda 21 seeks to destroy the traditional concept of family and the values and morals that are taught by the traditional family and replace them with new concepts that diminish the role of parents; “children belong to the state;” Agenda 21 seeks to replace traditional morals with Communist morality which teaches that individual worth is selfish; we must instead become “altruistic, selfless creatures, willing to serve what is best for the collective – for the common good.”

• Country: Agenda 21 seeks to restructure and transform our country into a socialist/communist state, where our Constitutional Republic, representative form of government, equal justice, and free enterprise system have been chipped away and replaced with the Soviet system. Unelected commissioners and “green” NGOs (non-governmental organizations) are the ones who are make decisions as to what we can and cannot do with our own property. Their belief in social justice instead of equal justice and redistribution of wealth and energy are destroying any semblance left of a free market and free enterprise system.

Much of the transformation in our country is being done under the direction of the United Nations NGO (non-governmental organization) called ICLEI, which stands for International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives. Over 600 cities in the United States belong to ICLEI. Close to 150 are in the state of California and many California counties are also members. Membership in ICLEI puts a town or county indirectly under UN control. That is why we see so many cities now marching to the ICLEI drumbeat. They resemble the same Sustainable Development "stack em and pack em" housing, very little parking available, small, narrow streets, close access to busses, short rail and lots of bicycle paths. The housing is "live and work" housing, with shops and working areas on the bottom level and living quarters on the second and third floor. It almost resembles the good old feudal days of yesteryear in Europe. What drives all this - grant money that is offered to strapped cities and, of course, wanting to fall in line with the "politically correct, green movement." A city who joins ICLEI gets to be called a "cool city," and they get to have a "cool mayor."

Mission Statement

Our mission statement is three fold:

1. We seek to expose UN Agenda 21 for what it really is – an evil master plan meant to destroy God, Family, and Country, individual rights, and change our nation to a socialist/communist state.

2. We seek to stop any further progress of Agenda 21 by informing, educating, and training individual citizens as to its evil designs so they can recognize and know how to stop the process in their own communities and reclaim their lost freedoms.

3. We seek to restore what has been lost and bring back the motto of “God, Family, and Country” to our nation; bring back the belief in individual “God-given rights,” parental rights, equal justice, and especially restore our Constitutional Republic, representative government and the free market and free enterprise system.

We hope to accomplish this mission with the following action plan:

• We seek to establish similar task forces under the auspices of Eagle Forum in every state in our nation.

• Set up “boot camp” training for their leaders, which they can then duplicate in their states, and start educating and getting prepared a large network of informed citizens who will know how to stop the Agenda 21 process from spreading any farther.

We must do this quickly: We have seen how those behind Agenda 21 are expediting the process at a rapid rate. They are aware that more and more citizens are waking up as to what is going on; thus they are rapidly trying to accomplish their goals before more opposition comes. Therefore, we must also increase our rate of informing, educating, and training the opposition.

Let us replace the three E’s of Agenda 21 – “Economy, Equity, Ecology” with the three R’s “Restore, Reclaim, Reeducate": Restore our Free Enterprise System, which once made our economy great; Reclaim Equal Justice not Social Justice, stop the redistribution of wealth and energy; and Reeducate people so they will recognize the false pseudo science and fear tactics that are being passed off for the teaching of Ecology today in our schools, universities and through the media.
